Please recommend a good Serving Dish

Posted on the " I don't have any friends thread", so don't know why I've created this thread
Had our really nice neighbours round to dinner recently - they are so kind & do us lots of favours , like taking our parcels.
Served lovely lamb with potatoes and veg.
I love to pile it high and them put any remains in a dish so that people can help themselves.
Smashed by big dish, that I normally use, the other day - besides it wasn't really that suitable.
Was thinking of something with a few compartments so that remaining meat, veg etc could be put on the table.

only with more compartments and ... is that a bit dear, or is that the price I should expect to pay to get a decent one ?
