White noise sleep aid

I suffer from insomnia so would like to buy a white noise sleep aid. My girl does too so don’t want to go on phone apps as there is temptation to go on phone. Would like one with other natural, fan noises etc too. Has anyone tried one. Are dreamegg any good?

Haven’t tried a white noise machine but my eldest DD used to struggle terribly to get to sleep and we bought a dodow sleep aid (selling on Amazon) not cheap at around £50 but did the trick nicely. It emits a light onto the ceiling that you watch and it has different time settings for how long it stays on. She was asleep within minutes and doesn’t need to use it every day now, just as and when she needs to. It’s for adults and children.
