No probs. recline the seat as far as possible. Turn the seat sideways to you.Put your hand on the back of the seat (ie the bit your baby leans against but from the reverse side)inside the triangle gap created by reclining the seat and you will find a little plastic door which just pulls open.

Now slacken the seatbelts as far as possible. Put your fingers inside the gap behind the pastci door and you should be able to pull out the metal attachment which the seatbelts hook into (basically a double hook and the loops at the end of the seatbelts hook onto it. Unhook the seatbelts and pull them through from the front (ie where your baby's shoulders woiuld normally be. Then pull off the cover (on clips around the outside of the seat) and pull the seatbelts though so you are left with just the plastic shell of the car seat. The seatbelts do not come off the car seat at the lap end so you will need to wash them by dangling them in a bowl or sink next to the chair.

Take your time putting the seat back together or its easy to end up with twisted straps. I find it easiest to put lap part of cover on first, then feed straps and catches though, then feed straps though the slits in the cover (but don't pull the cover up) then poke the ends of the straps through the slits in the back of the car seat. Turn the seat round at this point so the back is facing you then poke the ends of the straps through the small gap at the top of the triangle, then turn the seat sideways to you and hook up the straps again. Don't close the pastic door until you have tightened the straps or they get caught. Sounds worse then it is honestly!
