Is there such a thing .. DS (3.8) would like one for nightime .. and I'm happy for him to have one but not if it gets hot .. so is there a torch that doesn't get hot??

ds had a buzz lightyear torch for Xmas last year when he was 2 and it was fine - think it was from Woolworths.
Twinkie - I have just bought the ELC for a friends son - they look good.

Woolworths do one too - I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be allowed to sell them if they weren't safe.

My ds has a spiderman torch, shines a picture of a spider, he has to keep hold of the button or it goes out which means it doesn't get left on when he eventually falls asleep, he also has a Harry Potter reading light which he can put under the covers, neither get hot. I think I bought the spiderman one from woolworths and the Harry Potter one came from Toys r Us.

Bump ok, bit heavy and I have had enough - got 3 weeks left as of tomorrow but MW is going to do a sweep if I haven't had it at 38 + 5.

Get DD a torch when you do the rest of xmas shopping and use the code - I got loads off!! (HL1 I think it is)

We had a 3 colour one from ELC a few years back and also a Thomas the Tank Engine one which projected his face on a wall ! The latter you had to hold the button down so it switched off when not required and saved batteries. Never even thought they might get hot
