Pick me a car please! Ideal car for family of four.

Your thoughts please. We have six grand max. Was thinking a Vauxhall Zafira but am having second thoughts. What's the best I could get for that money?

I have the smaller version (Meriva) second hand 5000 miles on the clock only 6 months old was £7,500 so I would think youwould get a slightly older one still with low mileage for £6k

I love it and its easily big enough for four generously - go test drive one.

We have a Citroen Berlingo and it is wonderful. It wd def be worth test driving

we looked into a meriva but chose a megane instead. my sis loves her focus and she always said she would never buy a ford

VFM CItroen Picasso without a doubt they are cheap and you get a lot of car for your money.

Perfect for 4 people, economical too. We bought one 5 years ago and it has now done 120,000 miles and it is still going strong. Great car

second hand skoda estate. approx £6k, solid and reliable and roomy.

I used to have a volvo s40... after 8 years I was bored with it but it wouldn't die. You might get a good low-mileage one if you're lucky but for goodness sakes don't get petrol, lousy MPG.

Got a diesel toyota avensis now. Bigger, way more power and does 50mpg on the school run and better on the motorway. good reliability so I would imagine you could get a good second hand one.

Do you know what, I have no idea what a Volvo V40 even looks like. Am gonna google it now.

I love my Meriva - just right for 4. Nice and spacious, back and front. Plenty of boot space. But still easy to park etc.
