WHere would you go. Have been looking at all the Clarks and Startrite shoes but she hates them all and have to admit I don't blame her as they are all aimed at older girls.

Where else do people go to for pretty winter shoes? Are Next etc etc shoes any good, have never bought from anywhere apart from Clarks and Startrite but am certainly prepared to give somewhere else a go?

Same problem here with 3 year old DD. I never trust myself at fitting shoes myself so we still use Clarkes but I try to go for the youngest looking shoes as possible.

Dont bother with the shoes and just wear the boxes as my Father says

You need a good independent shoe shop. Whereabouts in the country are you (roughly)? Someone may know of one. Or you could go to Next, or M&S? Come pretty highly recommended on here by some people.

My DD is 5 and size 11.
I go to Clinkards shops in Nottingham or Sheffield - I think they have them throughout the country tho'. They stock all the really cute Italian styles and have trained fitters.
.......and you can buy on line too
