So I saw in my local hardware store for a mini-skip type bag, great I thought, I need to clear out my shed. I bought it £8. another £48 to have it collected, not cheap but still, it was what I needed at the time. This was a few months ago. Ok so dss has emptyied the shed into it and we arrange for collection. The road is narrow so we mentioned that but as two bin lorries a week get down it and numerous removal trucks and other skip lorries, I really didn't think it would be a problem.
So they came early in the morning and said that the road was too narrow. dp rang and said no it must be possible, try again.
So they came again and there were hardly any cars parked that day and still they said no.
So we are getting abit peeved at this stage and this has gone on over a couple of weeks. So they said if we wanted a smaller lorry WE would have to PAY a further £30. We are VERY pissed off now but pay it just to get rid of the bloody bag.
So now they say that the smaller lorry couldn't get down the road and would we like a full refund
This has to be bullshit. I saw the first lorry and I reckon that it probably could have got down the road at a push but if we paid for a smaller one and they say that that couldn't get down the road, well they must be employing pretty crap drivers
So great a full refund and no way of getting rid of the bloody bag
I actually don't know what to do
