Am thinking of making some of my xmas cards this year, probably only for family and close friends and was gonna get the kids to make grnadparents ones e.t.c.

Anyway i had a Lakeland book the other day and saw lots of good stuff but it seemed a bit pricey, although i have nothing to compare it too really.
So wheres best ??

Have you tried Hobbycraft? There is one at Crayford, Kent but I don't know where the other shops are. Not sure if they do mail order. I have a Studio cards Christmas book and they sell that sort of thing in there too. If it's for the kids I know Woolworths and ELC and Wilkinsons all sell bits and pieces.

I might have a go myself!

baker ross of course .. their card blanks are under £4 for 36

then just get some coloured kids paper and a bit of sparkly wrapping paper and cut them up .. you could make reindeer heads / santas / red robins really easily .. you don't really need to go wild on buying stuff in

Yep. Baker Ross.

have a look at those links i ddid on the other thread Nutty. the first one looks good value but don't know how many cards it would make.

cheapest place for cards and envelopes is craft creations

Thanks guys, loads to look at.

Thought it would be nice and a bit more personal to make them myself, and i know the kids will enjoy it too.
