Sling for easily transferring sleeping baby to moses or cot?

DD doesn't know how to fall asleep on her own yet but slings work a treat for sending her off quickly. If she's in the Coorie and DP is home we can hoist her off my shoulder and into the moses - feet still in sling - without disturbing her. if on my own i jiggle her too much and she wakes up. i'm fantasising about a sling i can gently undo and put her down. does one exist or shall i buy a bigger coorie and cut the top to create a big velcro fastening i can easily undo -iyswim?

Ring sling. That's why I bought one - the Hugabub is absolutely brilliant but not for transferring a sleeping babe.

Thanks - that's great. D'you reckon any ring sling or particular recommendation?

Hi Corrie Dale - why didn't your hugabub work for putting baby down? Looks a good neutral style for me and DP...

Because I can't get her out of it without some twisting and turning and by then, she's wide awake and raring to go.

Mind you, she sleeps brilliantly in it, and it's marvellously comfy to wear. Just sometimes, well, I'd like to have a nice cup of tea and you can't really do that with a baby parked under your chin!

Exactly!
