firstly this is a fantastic listing and the pictures are amazing, I wish that more people photographed their items as well as this.

But onto the couple of questions....
What does everyone think of the zapp???
and can you fit a buggy board or seat to go onto it????

Have you looked on the buggyboard website? If I remember correctly they have quite a comprehensive list of what pushchairs they do and don't fit.

TrinityRhino · 14/10/2007 22:32

ooh thankyou minda

meandmy · 14/10/2007 22:33

i dont like it, my dd has to go to sleep upright, cant load it with shopping hard to fold and hold hand/baby/shopping aswell cant help about the buggy board sorry

MeltingandScreamingIcarus · 14/10/2007 22:33

zapp - great for your car seat whizzing about.

Easy to push in shopping centres but you can't put bags on it or it tips.

Really hard to get kids in as there isn't much of an angle on the seat so they pop out the front. If you have a footmuff on the straps are a struggle.

No recline. Teeny hood. V tight raincover.

TrinityRhino · 14/10/2007 22:36

roffle melting

hmm doesn't sound so good now
I have Gecko who is 8 months and dd2 is 2 and a half

we live miles away from town and so we don't use a buggy for alot of walking but when I do want to use it it would probably be for shopping in the high street with dd2 with me too.

MeltingandScreamingIcarus · 14/10/2007 22:42

You can push it with one hand in a shopping centre.

I would doubt that a buggy board would work I think it would be unstable tbh. No suspension either.

get something you can hang bags in the handles. techno perhaps? Fine with a buggyboard.

TrinityRhino · 14/10/2007 22:48

whats a techno and is it huge cause I am sick of lugging my hugely heavy existing buggy in and out of a rather high boot

OP posts:
TrinityRhino · 14/10/2007 22:52

I think Ihave worked out what I techno is.....
I really want a 3 wheeler

OP posts:
MeltingandScreamingIcarus · 14/10/2007 22:57

Most three wheelers are heavy. Where will you hang the shopping bags?

bomken · 14/10/2007 22:57

there is a new one like the zapp but reclines
will find it........

bomken · 14/10/2007 22:58

here

TrinityRhino · 14/10/2007 23:04

thanks, would never have found that myself lol I am hopeless at searching the net

OP posts:
bomken · 14/10/2007 23:31

haven't seen one for real yet, but I like the look of it, I do love my Zapp

NormanBatesFletcher · 14/10/2007 23:35

Hey Trinity - I have a zap

The ONLY thing that would fit in the boot of my mini that I could fix a car seat to when K was tiny.

They are nice, but unless you need something that folds as small as a hanky then I think there are better options out there.....

NormanBatesFletcher · 14/10/2007 23:36

I do like the way I have dragged you over to the quinny way of thinking though

TrinityRhino · 15/10/2007 08:25

hey norma

My freestyle is killing me, It is sooooo heavy and I can't get a seat to go on it

but I am thinking that the zapp may not be for me either
I do LOVE the way it folds as little as a hanky, It's so coooool

DoctorFrankenSquonk · 15/10/2007 08:36

hi trinity

I have a zapp and I love it - and most of the time it is fab for what I need.

Dd2's buggy board does fit on the back, but not as well as on other pushchairs, and the zapp doesn't fold down as well when it is attached, and she is a bit awkward when she is on it - it's not the best pushchair to have a buggy board fixed to - but it suits us.

From what you say, you are doing a lot of walking to the shops and back. Imo, the zapp is not the buggy for you - you can't really put loads of shopping on the handles and your 2yr old would not be comfortable on a buggy board for long distances.

amazonianwoman · 15/10/2007 10:20

I found the Zia in bomken's link v hard to push one-handed. Wouldn't put a buggy board on it either, it feels too flimsy. Good recline though.

The ebay pics are amazing, definitely a good camera

NormanBatesFletcher · 15/10/2007 22:11

What do you mean that you can't get a seat to go on it? I have converters and a car seat to go on the freestyle....

popsycal · 15/10/2007 22:13

the seller is a mner...

MeltingandScreamingIcarus · 15/10/2007 22:55

NBF thats a seat to go here

FlameBat · 15/10/2007 23:01

I like my zapp, but it does have all the problems mentioned.

My current problem is that I have lost the f*ckin raincover, and where the hood doesn't lock into position, DS just flips it shut so he gets even more drenched (he likes seeing out sideways)
