I'm feeling really guilty because I can afford to upgrade my car to something really nice, when all around I know people are struggling and this winter is going to be really tough. We're really lucky, both our jobs are secure and likely to remain so, a bit of spare income etc, but it feels like I should be hunkering down and showing some solidarity being sad and depressed, not whizzing around in my new sports car with the music up loud.
Am I being ridiculous or has anyone else had second thoughts about buying atm?
