I use Ikea boxes for the tiny bits and my boys keep loads of theirs at Grandmas as she has a spare room where they can lay out a whole village, farm, shop etc and leave it out all the time.
At home the big bits go in storage boxes and the little tubs for the tiny bits go in the big boxes.
Playmobil is the one toy my boys play with every day without fail.

it is great stuff, what fun my kids have with it. It never fails to provide hours of fun

Some of those Really Useful boxes for the little bits and the big bits in a toy chest thing.

The little bits are a bit of a pita but the boys love it and it is very well made on the whole - rather that than some of the tat that is on the market.

maybe should start another thread on how to keep the 13 month old wee sister away?!

Why not put the little bits away until babys bedtime or nap and make a special thing about it being time for big child. You can play with it quite well without the really tiny bits.
