Can I fix a horrible dent myself?

Just pranged my car on a post. Very cross with myself, although it was in a car park and no one hurt.

Car has horrible dent/bashed in drivers side front corner panel and it's come apart from plastic front bumper.
Aesthetics don't bother me at all-happy to still have visible dent. Could I remotely sort it myself so that I can get it back into shape enough to attach the panel back to the bumper? Or is it necessarily a body shop job?

I presume you are familiar with this Father Ted episode?

😂😂😂Proper LOL! I think I might leave it to the experts!

I must say ! Leave that to expert if you have a new car

Well-events rather overtook on this-had started ball rolling on getting dent fixed, then engine went bang (quietly - not as dramatic as that sounds!) and we now have a different car. Very sad to see it go 😞

If its a horrible dent im guessing not. Look for a specialist bodyshop.

Wow. What were you doing with the dent to break the engine? Thats impressive.

Dent unconnected to engine problem ☹️
