johnsons baby oil gel question
joanneg · 19/10/2004 15:16
this may sound silly but I have been given a bottle of Johnson Baby oil gel. Is it the same sort of thing as the body wash (used like a soap) or is it for after ds has been washed? Hope that makes sense!!! ta

it's just like baby oil but in gel format
i've never used it on a baby but i've got some i use myself on wet skin after a bath

it's for after washing joanneg, a bit like moisturiser. never got on with it personally.....

My mother used some on my daughter after she bathed her once. She only used a tiny bit, but we were still trying to wash it off the bath (and my daughter!) a week later. Vile stuff, it went straight in the bin!

i used it to massage my bump when pg but found it a bit sticky. the avent baby moisturisers are quite nice, as is their soap free bodywash, which doubles up as a shampoo

I think I agree with Pupuce, most baby bath stuff is really bad for babies' skin. After battling with eczema for a while, I have found that if the skin is healthy the best thing you can use tobathe a young baby is... just water...
