How would you fashion a thief/burglar costume for Halloween?

Ds wants to be a thief. I have until Saturday to outfit him in time for his Halloween party. How would you go about the costume? Clearly it will have to be at least partly home-made.

I can't sew by the way, and am not craftsy AT ALL.
