did a search but didnt come up with anything really altho must be me as i could have sworn i saw a few threads about toy boxes. looking to get a couple, one for lounge and one for kiddies room.

Need to get house ready for baby and being in a 2 bed with 3 kiddies already, space is way small and stuff way too much for house!! Need to get storage and stuff sorted.

I dont mind plastic or wood but the size needs to be big enough to hold big type toys like leap pad, little peop;e etc but not too big that it takes over the rooms.

Thanks!!

Lots of people like the Ikea Trofast stuff - very versatile and easy to customise for what you need. Also good to keep different sorts of toys separate from each other. Argos also have some good stuff. Especially those first 2.

For the lounge, you might want to get something like a nice big rattan or wickerwork type trunk which looks more like furniture than just a toybox. We have one which is really strong and holds an awful lot but looks civilized (can't find it online now, unfortunately).

I got an Ikea box and painted it very bright primary colours.

I have used the Ikea Trofast stuff and it has survived three kids so well made, was used in DS1's bedroom to start with and now in the family room/kitchen so lots of wear and tear, would recommed, also like thw fact that there ae some slim trays for small toys such as dolls house furniture etc

In the playroom we have lots of the Ikea Trofast stuff - it is fantastic!

this ikea coffee table/box is good too.

the trofast boxes are tend to be tall and narrow, the argos ones are a bit wider.
