I need a cheap printer and fast. I don't want it to be all singing and dancing, just one that will let me print out my assignements and pics etc.

Budget is nil, so as cheap as possible, and pref not Lexmark, as thats what I have now and it's gone and broke on me after I have paid £30 for new cartridges.

lexmark are shit.

nutcracker · 07/10/2007 12:00

Definatly are, cannot believe I have wasted £30 and now have to buy new printer.

Just looking at reviews of cannon ones, they seem ok.

nutcracker · 07/10/2007 12:00

aren't they all cheap nowadays? I like HP. My new one cme with cartridges recently - though they aren't full capacity ones so run out quickly.

nutcracker · 07/10/2007 12:41

Well yeah they are all cheap I suppose, but not when I don't have any money for one lol.

I don'tnind if the cartridges that come with it aren't full capacity, so long as there is enough to print my assignement.

Hmm although i don't particularyl want another Lexmark printer, have just found a bog standard one for £20 that would take the cartridges I have already brought and put in my old printer.

The canon ones looked good MMa, but i think i am gonna have to get the cheap Lexmark one and use the cartridges from my old one. I can't afford to waste them.

Staples (prevoiously Office world) have one for less than £30, not sure what make, but it is brilliant because you only need ONE cartridge and it is only £14.99 !!!!!!!!!

ChasingSquirrels · 07/10/2007 13:34

I didn't mean it like that, I meant you can find them for £20, which is pretty cheap.
Or can't you take it somewhere and print it?

nutcracker · 07/10/2007 15:22

Thanks justjules, but i need 16 and 26.

Have ordered the £20 one from Argos now, can't be faffed with looking anymore, and knwing my look, if I wait, i'll go back and the argos one will be out of stock.
