A pair of waterproof, over-the-knee gaiters for a 12m? Ie something ds2 can wear while crawling outside in autumn/winter.

Why niot just get an all in one?
GLTC do good ones.

notnowbernard · 06/10/2007 20:50

Millets are good for all-in-ones as well.

They do baby sizes, too.

BellaeCandelae · 06/10/2007 20:53

He fights blue murder when we try o get him into all-in-ones. Besides, it's often too warm for an all-in-one (the thin ones don't seem to be waterproof).

I asked in Millets but they said they didn't do baby sizes.

muddy puddles do some for 18m... is your baby tall ? they may work, although be a bit baggy!

Alambil · 06/10/2007 20:57

oops forgot to say - they are just over-trousers

Alambil · 06/10/2007 21:01

these are dungarees from 80cm which is 12m - they are £19 99

CarGirl · 06/10/2007 21:06

cut the legs off your all in ones and use elastic bands/make some garters????

notnowbernard · 06/10/2007 21:11

I got some for dd2 in Millets, in 6-12m...

Is called 'suit-in-a-sack' or something

BellaeCandelae · 06/10/2007 21:52

I would, CarGirl, if they were waterproof!

Dungarees link looks good, thanks.

[[http://www.littlecompleteoutdoors.co.uk/Boys-Waterproof-Clothing/Togz-Kids-Dungarees Also these.] Any idea which would stand up better to out-door crawling (typically on tarmac in the school playground)?

have you got a tchibo near you, they do these. At £6.00 they are good.

Alambil · 06/10/2007 22:43

rekon the second set of dungarees will be better - got ankle adjusters (for shoes / wellies etc) which makes a lot of difference in my experience

they are a great company - the shop is round the corner from me, very good quality stuff

PrettyCandles · 08/10/2007 17:39

The Tchibo ones look good, too, but I'm not sure that PU coating would survive crawling.

I'll probably go for the Togs.

Thanks for your help.

(I realise now that gaiters wouldn't work, anyway - he'd probably crawl out of them.)
