video monitors for babies

anyne got any experince of these baby monitors please

Got something similar from Tomy 1&1/2 yrs ago. Camera in corner of nursery linked to TV in bedroom. Gives sound & b/w picture. We found it was really good in the day to see if she had actually "gone down" or was just playing quietly. Not so good in dark as infra red light was not strong enough to really see her.
We purchased it from Kiddicare for about £35 but I wouldn't have paid much more. Had to also buy a portable monitor for downstairs or to take outside etc. Hope this helps!
