Baby Formula Help!

So my four week old has been on Aptamil, both the liquid version and the powdered version, since birth. Originally we were just giving her liquid due to having been given loads of bottles and due to our prep machine making 4oz on the smallest bottle; which she wasn't taking that much in one go at the time. Once she got to 4oz we started using the powder and ever since she has been struggling to go toilet. She was okay the first week or so but since has been going every two to three days.

Please could I have som advice on experiences with formula? Has anyone experienced the same and what did you change to? Unfortunately unable to breast feed as she wouldn't latch due to inverted nipples!

Hello I know it's some time so but wanted to check how you got on?

Our 5 week old is on aptimel but very agitated all the time so we suspect a milk allergy.

Did things get better for you? I hope so x

Heya,

We carried in with Aptamil for a little while but decided it just wasn't working. Her poops were really solid or really loose; there was no in between. We changed to a Cow and Gate as heard that a change of brand could help; thus made her worse as it was much thinner. We then went back to Aptamil but went onto the comfort one which is made for constipation and colic. She was much better on that but still had loads of trouble going to the toilet and at one point she looked like she split herself a little. Because of that they have now started trialling her on cows milk allergy milk. The first one didn't change much so we're now trialling a second one. It's quite a long winded process but definitely worth pushing if you think that's the case just so they can rule it out if it doesn't end up being an allergy.
Hope that helps!
