baby monitors with a long range

I'm looking for a monitor that will really do a long range, through reinforced concrete walls, or thick stone walls, down the garden, from hotel room to outside/restaurant etc.

We don't need a monitor at home, only when we are elsewhere, and our current Tomy one just doesn't go any distance.

I've searched the prodeuct reviews, but this doesn't seem to be an issue for most people. Have anyone got any recommendations?

Definitely the Philips digital ones. Onto our second one (DD broke 1st one) and they both have much better range than the BT digital one we have (1 for each child!) - the latter doesn't work in our garden or even in part of kitchen, admittedly house & garden are big.

Philips one also worked when we were at a party in a hotel and DD was on 2nd floor

Angel care even if you dont want the sensor pad goes through 3 ft walls in an 18C cottage!!

some walkie talkies can be set up as baby monitors, we used ours on holiday once, it worked very well

Thanks everyone. My Mum has a Philips (not digital) which works through their thick stone walls, it's not bad, but I wasn't sure if there was anything else. I'll check out the specifications for that and the digital.
