Walking Boots for kids?

Someone (possibly Auntyquated?) told me about some shop somewhere in Cumbria (confused? me?!) re-starting their kids walking boots swap scheme. Does anyone know anything about this? I have phoned George Fisher in Keswick, and they 'have always done' a scheme, and sell 2nd hand kids' boots, but we hardly ever go as far as Keswick.

We've managed to get by without walking boots so far, but the kids are now amenable to going much further, and also on rougher/steeper terrain, and I think they could really do with some decent footwear. But it's a lot to pay for new boots every year.

Any suggestions, advice?

roisin, what size are your boys? We have several pairs, IIRC they are up to size 3 - I think we have 11, 12, 2 & 3, something like that.
Let me know what size they are and I will check what we've got.

DS1 is size 3 already (I know - he's only just 7!)
But ds2 is size 11, I think.
I would be very interested in buying some off you. Please let me know what sizes you have, and what you want for them.

Roisin x

PS Where are you going next week? Just being nosey - saw you mentioned somewhere that you were away. Nice holiday break?

That is so scary YG! I'm a size 5, and it is shocking to think that ds1 could realistically have the same size feet as me in just a year or two!
Definitely interested YG - will email you.
