Anyone know how much Game gives if you sell a game to them (preowned)?

I know they buya nd sell games for their Preowned section.

I have Boogie for the Wii which we no longer ish to keep. The songs are too old for 5yo DD, so she doesn't use it as much as we had thought - need to hold out for the High School Musical version next month.

I also have The Sims 2 for the DS, which I have now finished with.

Anyone know how much you sell them to Game for?

Depends what it is, what condition it's in and how much they can sell it on for - give them a ring.

Hulababy · 04/10/2007 14:18

Trying to call them but they are not answering.

Both in very good condition, in box, all things present, etc.

Woolies do, fio? Really?

(I mean it makes snese but when did they start and do they advertise it?)

Hulababy · 04/10/2007 14:23

Woolworths? Do they? Never knew that.

Spoken to Game and they won't give me a price over the phone. Have to go in as apparantly price can change daily. Grrr!

I know Game sell Boogie preowned for £45. Just curious how much I would be given if I sold them mine.

Game, Gamestation et al are really really stingy ime, eg a game that you've paid £35 for a couple of months ago will get you about £6 or £8.

MrsBoo · 04/10/2007 14:33

I sold Mario Kart for the DS to GAME, and got £20 for it (not bad as they sell brand new for £29), and I £8.00 for another DS game which isn;t so popular and sells for about £19.00 new.
It was great my DS was able to buy another brand new game for £29.00 and it only cost him £1 + the 2 trade-ins.

Hulababy · 04/10/2007 14:33

Hmm mumblechum - is that so? Boogie is £50 new, £44 preowned in Game. Don't fancy only getting a tenner for it!

That sounds a bit better MrsBoo

WOUld you get more on ebay? That is what we are considering

popsycal · 04/10/2007 14:37

\alink{http://www.graingergames.co.uk/shop/category.php?category_short=all&show_mode=preorder\here they are}

here

MrsBoo · 04/10/2007 14:39

THe guy in the shop said, it didn;t really matter how much the game cost new - they're all usually the same in any case. But the really popular ones they take as trade-in, which is why we got £20 for one game and only £8.00 for another.
I only know about the DS, but they have preowned ones as much as £25.00 (brand new they're £29.99), so I was really supprised to get as much as £20

Hulababy · 04/10/2007 14:42

Not sure Popsy. Just thought town would be easier than ebay.

Took them in. Got £30 for Boogie and £8 for DS game. Which meant in replacement we got Cars (for DD) and Trauma (for me) - both preowned so we just did straight swap, so happy.
