VSmile/LeapPad sets from ELC...any good? Do your children love them?

VSmile looks quite a good interactive toy and a good computer trainer. Also LeapPad books for Children look good.

DS1 is nearly 4 and I don't want to spend lots and then him not use it OR simply be encouraging him to look at the TV more.

Thoughts and advice please?

we had had a selection of the different leapad books for ds1 and now ds2 plays with them. They are great for taking out in the car, or on holiday.
