Are there any shops that actually have Phil & Ted buggies in stock?

Or do they all have to order it in? I've just checked with Mothercare and they have to order it.
Trouble is, we're away from home in a rented flat with no landline and terrible mobile reception, so I can see it going horribly wrong if we try to get it delivered.
(Plus, I want it NOW [stamps foot]

Anyone know?

TIA!

are you far away from home? I could take delivery for you if you like, and you can either collect it from me or I can bring it to you.

But I am guessing that you are faaaaar away so this won't be any help to you

Kathyis6incheshigh · 03/10/2007 16:29

We're in Cambridge, sadly. But thanks for the offer!

DoctorFrankenSquonk · 03/10/2007 16:36

bugger.

good luck

Kathyis6incheshigh · 03/10/2007 16:40

Thank you.
Thanks, Squookles. We're going to London at the w/e so we can look there as well - I just have no idea where to start because when I google I just get 100000s of online retailers who sell them.

Kiddicare have a really good package and they even throw in a travel cot for free!

hoxtonchick · 03/10/2007 16:46

john lewis? or whatever it's called in cambridge...

Kathyis6incheshigh · 03/10/2007 16:50

Just tried John Lewis - they don't do them.
Have now had the idea of looking for the P&T website for a list of stockists - there must be one but I'm damned if I can find it

OP posts:
Kathyis6incheshigh · 03/10/2007 16:55

Ah have finally found the website (it's a.com rather than .co.uk, which is why I was having trouble....)

Daisy & Tom in King's Rd London worth a try. Also Harrods

Pixiefish · 03/10/2007 20:34

My local small mothercare had them in stock so I don't think it's a national mothercare thing

Kathyis6incheshigh · 04/10/2007 12:30

Thanks Pixiefish & Fimbley - will try them.

Not sure if they do free delivery or not but the Glasgow Pram Centre have them in stock (would solve you getting it soon but still needs to be delivered)

TheBlonde · 04/10/2007 16:42

I got mine from oxford pram centre online

Millarkie · 04/10/2007 16:46

If you can't find a new one anywhere Kathy I'm selling mine (when I get round to it) and I'm not far from Cambridge.

susiemj · 04/10/2007 16:46

Mothercare website? (if it's not a national thing). If you get one can you let us know as I'll be after one soon!
Kiddicare deal does look good.

Kathyis6incheshigh · 05/10/2007 10:20

Millarkie - how far away are you, how much are you asking and what is your buggy? Is it the Sport?

I have tried to order from Mothercare Online (seemed the only practical option) and they're claiming my card isn't going through () - if we buy yours we could pay cash of course as we'd come to collect it!

OP posts:
Millarkie · 05/10/2007 11:46

It's not a Sport it's an E3 version 2 - dh works at Cambridge Research Park and I guess would be happy enough to deliver it to you. We live south of Cambridge in a village near Saffron Walden. Thought I'd offer just in case it's months before a new load of P+T's are imported.

It's dark blue, with doubles kits, double rainhood, pannier bags and a travel bag. We haven't used it for a while ( I have been too lazy to clean it up to sell it).

Kathyis6incheshigh · 05/10/2007 11:53

I would happily buy that! We could collect - that's easily near enough. No need to clean it up....

How much would you like for it? (I know they go for quite a high proportion of the original price!) Would it be possible for us to get it in the next few days?

OP posts:
Kathyis6incheshigh · 05/10/2007 11:57

my email is [email protected]

OP posts:
Millarkie · 05/10/2007 12:33

I'll get it out of storage and check it over - then email you if that's ok.

Kathyis6incheshigh · 05/10/2007 12:38

that's fab Millarkie, thanks!

OP posts:
Kathyis6incheshigh · 05/10/2007 17:00

Oh no, after saying my card didn't work Mothercare have now taken the payment and dispatched the buggy! So we don't need yours!

So sorry to have made you go to the trouble of getting it out, & thanks for your help.

OP posts:
Millarkie · 05/10/2007 17:24

No problem Kathy - dh was getting all mournful anyway - I did point out that even if we had one more baby that we weren't going to have another 2..but he wasn't so convinced .
Hope your new Sport is as lovely as our E3 is/was
