VTech V.Smile - anyone else seen it?

Has anyone else seen this?

WE saw it today in Boots. DD (2.5yo) was really impressed with it. She played part of the Winnie the Pooh cartridge and I was impressed with how she could control the joystick, and the button - even at the same time. And that she was taking in what she had to do, and repeating the letters and sounds she heard as Pooh Bear collected the honey.

As with all the VTech stuff it claims ot have loads of educational benefits. Main one for DD today was fine motor skills TBH.

But we really liked it. Suggested it to DH for DD's main Christmas Present and he agrees. Costs just under £50, and extra cartridges are £15.

Just thought I'd let others know about it.

We've not bought anything yet - hence all this swapping ideas!

Still love the vanity table unit but TBH I am not sure her bedroonm can take it, not with everything else she'll be getting. Going to wait until we move and hopefully get that for her birthday instead.

shame I paid £49.99 for DD1s from my dads catologue (same price as in the shops) then on the dad he ordered it, went to Costco and saw it cheaper. Its a great thing for kids, and you get the Winnie the Pooh one free with it, so you can have lots of fun with DD on xmas day

I brought one for ds several weeks ago for Xmas. I thought it looked fab. I've since noticed they're being sold on e-bay. Doh.
