We quite like the vileda squishing thing. It's red. It might be called the supermop. It cleans our floor without leaving too many puddles of water and is easy to wring out. Highly absorbant.

what is it with you and your floors. vileda ones dry v v quickly.

I have had a vileda on w th fronds that my cleaner liked ( I am not sure) an done wit a removable sock type thing you could wash inthe machine

Those things leave loads of water on the floorand you can't really scrub the muckiest bits with those flimsy things.

John Lewis have got nice purple/pink stripey ones - no idea if they're any good though - that's me all over

I have the Smart one and it is brilliant. It mops up water really quickly, and you can wring it out to clean laminate floors. It's got a scruuby bit on one side - you need practice at the flippy action to use it without having to bend down, but I really cannot praise it enough
