Ok another confused mum...
I want a three wheel pram thats good for outdoors, can corner round the shops, gets on and off buses ok, doesnt have silly little wheels at the front and most important - is rear facing.
Like the Bebecar Racer and Icon, and the Buzz, the icandy Cherry looks great but not 3 wheels!!!
Please Please Help before I go mad will confusion

Have you looked at the Britax one? I saw it in the Boots catalogue - not seen it in real life so can't comment that much....

Nataz26 · 02/10/2007 12:27

yeah had a look at that one but has a smallish seat so prob wont get that much use out of it. Ideally dont want to have to buy another one. My lo is 4 months so looking for something that will last.

um, don't know yet...! Hope so! My DS is nearly 5 months and has only been in the pushchair bit for a month.
You can get a footmuff thingy though, which I'll probably get.

nappyaddict · 02/10/2007 13:09

the zooper zydeco is fab fab fab as is the mutsy 3 rider. (i have both)

nappyaddict · 02/10/2007 13:40

i wanted the racer with the air tyres but when i went to get it from toys r us they told me it had been discontinued?

Monkeybar · 02/10/2007 13:48

You can have the Buzz as rear facing when they are small, but not in a sitting up position. Worked well for my ds. Not sure how easy for getting on buses though!

flowerybeanbag · 02/10/2007 13:57

My DS is rear facing, sitting up in his Buzz. Rear facing there are 2 positions, reclined and sat up. Maybe it's just the new one?

Nataz26 · 02/10/2007 16:04

Yeah can only get the racer on ebay etc. Havent seen the zooper zydeco tho' whats that like?
Really like the look of the buzz, shame about the lack of recline positions when rear facing and the hood doesnt look that great compared to others.
Whats the mutsy like, cant imagine its good off-road.

nappyaddict · 02/10/2007 16:32

this is the zooper

zydeco

i've never tried the mutsy off road. i got it purely for the fact you can put a go kart thing on it lol.

also what about the valco rebel?

Nataz26 · 02/10/2007 16:46

The velco is to heavy 17.5 kg! I'd never manage to push that up the hills round here

Fav at the mo are:
Racer
Mountain Buggy (wish it faced both ways)
Quinny Speedi (looks cool)
Zooper Boogie (cant seem to find one tho')
Buxzz (still like that one)

Not sure if I need two, one for outdoors and another for everyday stuff. Defo want handbrake these steep hills are nightmare!

i think i had to get the zooper off ebay in the end. there's a stockist in ireland but i couldn't find one for england.

Nataz26 · 02/10/2007 18:29

What was the zooper like round shops. Thats my only concern about off-road ones, are they a pain in the bum on the high street?

not if you get one with a swivel wheel. but then if you want it for jogging one with a swivel wheel is no good. you need one with a fixed wheel. if its just for walks in the woods/park/beach etc a swivel wheel is ok though. its just jogging you need a fixed wheel for.
