Reliable car for 3 under 4?

With baby number 3 on the way we will quite shortly need to replace our trusty Honda Jazz family runaround for something quite a bit bigger. We'll have 3 children under 4, so main requirement is 3 ISOFIX in the second row. We also need a reasonable amount of boot space for obvious reasons.

We have been looking at a few of the obvious options (SMax, VW Touran), but does anyone have any advice or experience of similar sized cars that can comfortably fit 3 children? I say comfortably as I know some cars say they can fit 3 seats, but in reality can't, especially if some are larger ERF seats (which we use).

Happy to consider all shapes of car, but would rather avoid SUV unless it can offer a decent amount of space (many seem to have less than a typical estate) and be comparable to MPV in terms of economy.

Fine with new or second hand but new cost would top out at something like an SMax or Touran so £30-35k.

I would look at a Citroën C4 Picasso. It has isofix across the 3 back seats, and is roomy. You can read a review of it here x

Just get an smax. It ticks all your boxes.

Picasso's are good, they're a family classic and are nearly as popular as the Range Rover on my school run

Over on either car seat advice UK or car seats for the littlies on face book they have an list of the exact car a that for 3 x ERF seats in the back. There's not many.
