Can people please tell me their experience with them? Especially the Trailhawk owners? (I might be moving somewhere a bit icy)

You don't need a Jeep for ice, just all season/winter tyres.

I’m in Australia and it’s remote, rugged and not particularly well-maintained road. Probably should have mentioned that bit. We don’t have the same small 4WDs here as you do.

Get yourself a Toyota Landcruiser - a proper 4x4, not that cheap American shite.

I’ve had one (unfortunately). It was a temp company car, I couldn’t wait to give it back. Issues I found: terrible driving position, terrible fuel consumption, very small boot but most of all I disliked being allocated a car with a 3 star safety rating. It was also an arm and a leg in company car tax for the time I had it. Personally I’d choose a larger more proven and reliable second hand 4x4!

Hmmmm.... might (literally) have to re-think the wheel. Thanks for the advice!!! Such a pity as I have a really gammy leg and I find the height and the seating comfy. (Plus my dog fits in the boot!)

Buy something Japanese.

Australia really does have a dearth if short wheel base 4wd’s.

I have one, it looks amazing but it's terrible. I have had the infamous battery problem the controlls sometimes don't work. It does 20mpg it drinks fuel the stereo is good and has a sub woofer. The warranty is only 3 years and mines over that now and it has got loads of little problems. Go look on the jeep renegade owners Facebook page. It will give u a idea. I had years of having Toyota's and they are much more reliable. I would have another one though because they look amazing.
