Keen to get anyone's recommendations on The Ordinary products please and things people use for their daily skincare routine. Have heard good things about the range but am a bit confused and clueless about what it all does. Also looking for something with an SPF in if possible. Have some skin damage from the sun so anything good for that would be great. Thank you :-)

If you ask @mnhq to move your post to the Style and Beauty board you'll get loads of advice. Or just look in there, there are quite a few threads about The Ordinary already.

Their products really work in our household! Ive been using their granactive retinoid 5% in squalane for a couple of years- it has made a massive difference on fine lines and skin appearance. I put it on at night and then put a coating of nivea cream to kind of seal it in as its a thin liquid(dont put it too near your eyes its quite irritating). Im mid 40's and when i recently went home and met up with o load of mates i havent seen in years everyone said they couldnt believe my skin was so good ; )
My youngest DD has been using Lactic Acid 10%+HA for about a year after her friend who had bad spots recommended it.Its been amazing for her too. DD now has a clear forehead and chin and heaps more confidence as a result..she puts it on every morning.
I use zinc creams on my face along with sun zapper flesh coloured zinc stick when out and about as we are in Oz and its a case of avoiding it rather than laying out in it for hours like when i was in UK!
DDs use these too.
