It is always receommended?

I need one which will do diffrent sized loaves, a variety of programmes, not too fiddly, easy as possible to clean.

Can you use spelt flour in them?

We have one and it is much better than our previous one. The loaves are a bit more squarish though.

And yes, you can use spelt flour.

I LOVE my panasonic, the bread is yum, and I am a total thicko when it comes to baking - if I can make great loaves with it, anyone can.
I (sadly) researched for hours before buying and it was always highly recommended.

had one for at least 8 years, and just thinking of replacing it for yet another one. They are fantastic (and i have tasted bread from other machines). Only need to replace it as the non-stick pan is beginning to lose its non-stick iyswim.

Yes, definitely. Perfect results every time (as long as you remember to include all the ingredients.

with you on that one uberalice....TWICE I have forgotten water! . The wonderful machine tried gamely to make a loaf anyway, had a hard time getting the big lump of cooked flour out...!

They are brilliant. I was given one for Christmas and haven't bought a loaf since. I make bread every other day and the results are amazing.
