Our cars usually mine has been targeted for the past several years. Nails in tyres-back ones when car is parked towards front end to door. We know who it is. but cant prove it. Hes an ex prison officer who works for Royal Mail. We have kept a record of all circumstantial evidence and reported family to Police.
There is cctv with triggers and recording. We still havent caught him. Police dont want to know. I have now thought about a dash cam with parking mode, but I am told they are not sensitive enough to detect this. I am now paranoid and looking at tyres everytime we go out. Has anyone else ever caught someone in these circumstances

Not caught anybody but not had any problems. I have three Oscar 2 cameras from Time2Technology on the exterior of the house. Currently using a 64gb card in each and they record 24/7 and go back about ten days. You can put a bigger card in and go back even further. They have motion detection so you get a text when they are set off but I've got that switched off as the wind blowing the bushes set them off. I can view on any smart phone or tablet. At night they aren't brilliant but the motion detection flood light will go off too so then they are able to see very well

If you realise you have a puncture you'd just have to go back and cycle through the footage

Get better cctv then have him prosecuted.

Try a ring stick up battery cam placed facing in to where he’d have to walk to attach your vehicle. Wireless so rely on a decent WiFi signal.
