I've stopped my Audible subscription and I'm on a trial month with Scribd. It's good and bad, good that I have already listened to several audiobooks and read a few reference books (quilting) so it works out better value for me than Audible. It's also reasonably good at recommending things based on my previous selections. Bad that it really doesn't have the anything like the volume of titles that Audible has.
What annoys me most is that the search function is useless. Even if I put the exact title or the author's name in inverted commas it still won't find it. Sometimes it will bring up one or two of the author's books but if I click on the author's name it'll bring up a load more, so why not find them with the search? I've tested it by searching for a book that's on my saved list (so I know Scribd has it), and it didn't find it.
I also find searching by category much too broad, I would like to be able to narrow subjects down a lot more, eg have craft as a sub-category of home and garden.
