boy's style vests for girls

dd 6 dosen't like the girls vest becaues she says the edges itch. She like plain boys vest but won't wear them at school because of been teased about haveing boys vests. Does any one sell plain girls vest with out the lace edges or is there away to make the boys vests girly. Please help if you can as the weather is start to get colder.

Will search, but could you sew on a sequin, or put a small iron-on sparkly decoration on the front? I think Petit Bateau might be the sort of thing you want - will have a look.

I think dd1 had osme alst year form woolworths. They were rather plain, but I htink the edges were certainly not as fancy as th eones she ahs now.
