Never tried Aqua, sorry, but Hama are great. We can give you some spares

KTeePee · 28/09/2007 16:27

Never heard of Aqua, what are they?

serenity · 28/09/2007 16:28

Never tried the Aqua beads, but I'd imagine they must be easier than the Hama ones (I could show you scars from ironing my sodding fingers rather than the beads) and the damn things get everywhere.

nailpolish · 28/09/2007 16:29

aqua apparently work with a spray of water

Oops, cross posted- I got a big tub of Hama-likes in IKEA, then lots more from Jenners although now they are Hamley's I don't know if they stock them. I think JL do them, somewhere around the bit where toys and knitting stuff meet.

nailpolish · 28/09/2007 16:33

Tamum · 28/09/2007 16:36

Oh, and you can get cool glow in the dark Hama beads to make ghosties and stuff with!

nailpolish · 28/09/2007 16:37

i prefer the aqua as dd can do them herself the hama ones sit around waiting for me to iron them and normally get kn ocked over whilst waiting around

LIZS · 28/09/2007 17:05

We have Hama not tried Aqua tbh. It is fine as long as your dd isn't overambitious and it can stay safe while in progress. We have had disasters with almost made Disney Princesses getting knocked. Currently on a butterfly fairy thing.

nailpolish · 28/09/2007 17:06

god yes i have the butterfly fairy obsessed dd too
