Insulated lunch bag

Going back to work and Management say we can't use the communal fridge or microwave anymore in case we give each other Corona. Problem is, I really can't stand tepid food. Something like a luke warm sandwich turns my stomach. My food has to be either properly hot or properly cold, I don't like anything in between.

Any recommendations, please, for a bag which keeps food good and chilled, with or without ice bricks? Looks are less important than function, although it would be nice if it looked good. I work with kids and my idea of looks good would also encompass cartoons or children's shows. I previously had a Peppa Pig lunch box which the children always liked! However, the prime factor is it must stay cold. Are those baskets they have in Aldi and Lidl sometimes any good?

Thanks.

Hi op, I’m in the same boat and have to keep my lunch in my locker. I have a Sophie Allport insulated lunch bag and it looks nice and with a couple of the slim cool packs from the supermarket, does the job beautifully. It’s good for a picnic with DP also and has a shoulder strap.

These are great and have loads of different designs. I put 2 slim ice blocks in mine and they keep chilled for hours.
