Which cordless phones review - can anyone post best buys? Or recommend a trio?

Pretty please? We don't subscribe anymore. DP has bought a BT 3500 Trio and it's horrible! Now I'm in charge of research

If anyone can recommend a set (3 handsets plus ansaphone) I'd be grateful too.

The Panasonic came out well. We bought a double one for about £50 - but I think they also do a triple (or was it a quaruple).

We're pleased with it.

Another vote for panasonic, we have the trio. Just don't put near the radio as it goes all fuzzy.

RustyBear · 25/09/2007 19:56

We have the BT synergy, triple with ansaphone which I haven't found any problems with yet. But it wasn't in the Which survey at all so it may have been discontinued.
the top 3 best buys were Panasonic KX-TG9150, BT Reveal and Panasonic KX-TG7180

Thank you v.much, we've gone and looked at the panasonics. We had bt handsets before and they were great until they died this week, I think you've got to pay more for the better quality ones maybe?
dp now says we need a Skype phone fgs.

Skype phones really do hike the price up - think the equivalent Panasonic skype enabled phone was £120 .

We do use Skype at home - but via the microphone on our laptop.

accessorizewithbabysick · 26/09/2007 22:17

yes, they are ridiculously expensive, I have argued that we don't use it enough to justify but it's the future apparently

Pretty much any Panasonic will do the job I think.

smurfgirl · 26/09/2007 22:25

We have a panasonic v.good.

prettybird · 26/09/2007 22:28

If it's the future, I'd wait until the prices come down then

Which? this month recommends the Papnsonic KX-TH9150 (£80/£150 - think the hgher price is for a twin handset) which can support Voip (skype) - and also up to 6 handsets.

The Panasonic KX-TG7120 (£50) is the one I think we have and is down as a "worth tracking down" best buy.

They also rate the KX-TG7180 (£100) but it sounds a bit wierd, using "bone conducting techno;lgy", ie you hold it against your skull rather than your ear.

WendyWeber · 26/09/2007 23:28

We have Panasonic KX-TCA150EM but I don't think they make that one any more. Excellent sound though and very easy to use AS LONG AS YOU HANG ON TO THE INSTRUCTION BOOK! (Certain people in our house keep accidentally emptying the memory but as long as you have one of the other phones you can transfer it back again...as long as you know how )

accessorizewithbabysick · 28/09/2007 19:58

Thanks again, def. panasonic it is. We're going to have a look online tonight!

littlemo2007 · 15/11/2007 20:40
