There is me and DH and DD 11 months - would I be better off getting a ginormous one or just one that serves up to 4? I know someone out there will be able to help!

This thread is very old now and some of the suggestions may be outdated or no longer in stock, but we’ve recently refreshed our best slow cooker guide with plenty of options recommended by Mumsnet users, plus guidance on choosing the right capacity for your family. We hope you find it useful.

Thanks Cappuccino - I had visions of getting the one that serves 4, and ending up scraping out the dregs for my supper as there wouldn't be enough. Very interesting to know that you have enough left to freeze, thanks
