I have been looking at these in Mothercare, look good, a little expensive maybe?
Ae they worth spending out on?
MistressMary · 11/10/2004 21:16
Mmm a bit of hit and miss then really.
Will have to look out for them on the cheap, I reckon. I think I am just intrigued myself - probably end up mesmerised myself.

I recently bought a set off Ebay for about £35. Its from the Sian market release so has 10dvds in a sort of vidoe style box. The only difference between these and the ones in mothercare is that you slect English as your language before you start. SOme of them have speech others not.
My dd, now 1 loves them. We had baby mozart from her very early days and she still loves it.
Would certainly get some.

Thinking of flogging mine now we've discovered CBeebies! DD loved them but I thought they were lame, but it didn't matter what I thought of them!

We got some out of the library - maybe you could do that and have a look before you buy?. We were given an old video of Mozart which DS1 loved. Now we have Bach (or Beethoven?)and Newton which is about shapes. We find them very useful for when they're ill and we're bored of the CBeebies cycle and also for calming them down.

we have the videos for baby eistein and baby bright. not that expensive (about£10 or £9 each I think) and DD loved them. she'd get bored with them for a while then got back into them again. so i still haven't got rid of them . maybe you can find them on ebay or amazon secondhand cheaper.

I'm looking for a Baby Mozart video so if you're looking to sell yours, let me know or CAT me.
I posted a note in the Wanted thread a couple of weeks ago but have had no response!
Thanks

Oh dear, just checked my stock (!) and I haven't got Baby Mozart! I've got DVDs of:
Baby Newton
Baby Van GOgh
Baby Shakespeare
Neighbourhood Animals
Baby Beethoven
They ate £17 on Amazon but I'd sell them for £10 each. I'll put them on For Sale too
