KatieMac · 11/10/2004 13:57

I have been tald there is an alternate way of venting a dryer.

Not through an outside wall but into a condensing box?

Do these exist?Where can I get one?
Help please

think we bought ours from Scotts of Stow or [something of] Bath.. will dig around see what I can find. The box has two smaller boxes in it, that you fill with water and freeze.

Have seen these condenser boxes in either Kleeneze or Betterware catalogues that often appear on our doormat I think.

found this link to scotts of stow (hope it works)

www.scottsofstow.co.uk/ProductDetails.aspx?language=en-GB&product=15100

if it doesn't work website is scottsofstow.co.uk and I searched for condenser.

There's one here , KatieMac. It's £15, I don't know if that's excessive.

And here is catgirl's one - exactly the same, but 4p cheaper!
