I am totally bemused.

DS is a size 7. I have literally not managed to find ANY in his size.

Have tried Mothercare, Brantano, Clarks...

He has been in Shooshoos up till now but is just about outgrown the XL size so I need to find an alternative.

Have just looked online. Found some lovely Little Ds ones in polkadots, but they only go up to a 6 and a half. Grr.

Need some soon as have lots of uncarpeted floors and his feet are FREEZING in the mornings.

There were loads of size 7 yesterday at mothercare near me. I bought DS some size 6 Spiderman and he LOVES them

not sure where else to suggest.

Inch Blue do up to uk size 10 and I always find them nicer and softer than shoo shoos

JackieNo · 20/09/2007 15:22

NOt sure what your budget is, but the White Company have
these,
(these - though not sure if the right size)
(ditto these)

I got my wee girl bratz ones in m&co, Asda ysually have a good choice and woolworths do too. These don't come in half sizes so I just buy a bit bigger.

fingerwoman · 20/09/2007 15:22

I got some in clarks but we had to go up a size because they came up really short, so maybe worth another look in there but trying a bigger size?

witchandchips · 20/09/2007 15:23

What about slipper socks? or simpler just gap socks that have the grip on the sole

Nemo2007 · 20/09/2007 15:23

I think daisy roots or starchild go up to age 3 or 4.

JackieNo · 20/09/2007 15:24

M&S online?

mammaduck · 20/09/2007 15:24

Oh Oh Oh!

Never heard of inch blue.

Just looked online.
My god they are dear but they are FAB!

He might just have to have a pair.

God I am such an indulgent mother.

Thanks creme egg!

mammaduck · 20/09/2007 15:30

Although my inner miser is saying "£8 at M&S is plenty to spend..."

At least I now feel I have a choice. I seriously was starting to think that such I think just didn't exist.

Next - we have flashing bob the builder ones

expatinscotland · 20/09/2007 15:41

LaRedoute has children's slippers at prices I wouldn't be even for adults.

MyEye · 20/09/2007 15:44

Can anyone point me in the direction of bunny slippers? You know, the boys' slippers with bunny ears. (Bad Harry wears them in My Naughty Little Sister when he goes out in the snow)

oliveoil · 20/09/2007 15:48

I have just found some great ones at ASDA.

They are very soft and don't have a hard bottom - they are like a flexible rubber with grippers on - a bit like the bottom of pool shoes. They have an elastic strap which is hidden under the front so they don't come off either. DS1's (4) have pirates on and DS2's (18mnts) have a dinosaur face.

I am a bit of a shoe snob and usually buy the french boot style ones as they stay on well but I think these ones are great (and were only £4 a pair).

MuffinMclay · 20/09/2007 17:04

The White Company ones mentioned below are lovely, but I found the sizing very big. I got ds some online in his size but they are far too big for him to wear yet.

HappyMummyOfOne · 20/09/2007 21:21

Mothercare do a fab range of slippers for toddlers, i love their padded style ones as they are a great fit and lovely and warm for winter. The padded ones can come up small though as I bought some spiderman ones in size 8 but more like a 7's.

expatinscotland · 20/09/2007 21:23

I got some lovely ones in Matalan.

emmamd74 · 22/09/2007 19:27

Try www.lillalondon.com. They are something in between slipper socks and slippers.
