Mutsy travel system - is it any good?

I am going to be a mum for the first time and am finding that trying to decide on what buggy/travel system I should buy is a bit of a nightmare! Has anyone got the Mutsy 4Rider Lite travel system, and if so, is it any good? If not, what other buggies would people recommend? Thanks!

I've had a look at this too, it looks great. I am expecting baby number 2 and probably won't upgrade after all but I do have a very similar pram and its handy to be able to switch direction of facing of seat and all that.

I went for a Jane four wheeler and car seat combo, and would probably buy it again as it's been pretty good overall. However, some things I wish I had thought more about were:

  1. How am I going to be using it? In and out of the car, or walking from the house - is it important that the car seat clips on to the buggy?? Depends on your lifestyle etc.

  2. Am I going to be travelling on planes etc with it? Weight and size will be an issue (I fly a lot with my little one, often alone).

  3. Can I lift/put up/put down the buggy on my own? Is it easy, or does it involve both hands and feet!!

  4. Does the buggy go flat for when the LO is tiny, and upright for when they are bigger? (I ruled out the quinny zap on these grounds).

Not sure if this is helpful and probably doesn't answer your questions. There are SO many buggies out there that it is just about matching it to you lifestyle and how you anticipate using it. I wish mine had been able to be used so that bub was facing me when she was little, and facing out now she is older - so that would be a bonus of the mutsy.

I have an Icoo Platon 3, not sure its still available but I'coo do others, they are quite similar in a lot of ways to the mutsy. having 3/4 wheel options of the same pram, seats that lift off and change direction, different combos of things but on the mutsy I really like the toddler seat thing. I think as I live in the country I would get the original 4 rider and then get the spare set of small swivel wheels so I still had the option of using it on really rough ground in the original wheels and then use the small wheels in town.
