Party Balloons

I am arranging an adults' Dinner Dance and a kids party and have decided that balloons are required to liven up the place ( it's the kid in me - trying to get out! )

I am looking for a supplier of the disposable Helium Gas cylinders - so that I can create a number of "displays" myself.

DO any of you know where I can get such a thing please?

Thanks

I think people usually hire a full cylinder of helium for such occasions but I don't know where from. I assume that the bottle is hired on a deposit basis which you get back on its return. We've had balloon races at school so they must be available from somewhere. Try the phone book for bottled gas suppliers.

Have you ever tried inhaling helium - it makes you talk like donald duck! A great party trick when you are drunk (evidence of a mis-spent youth, also try dry ice down the toilet for that bubbling couldron effect - goes bubbling mad with warm body fluids!)

Crystaltips, where are you located?

Are you in london? If not, as PamT said, look in the yellow pages for party supplies.

Party Pieces do helium ballon kits-cylinder/ ballons etc, it's about 60pounds I think.

crystaltips, here where we live it is the local BOC stockist that does the helium cylinders for hire. Look in your yellow pages under oxygen suppliers?
