....anyone know how good these are?

I want to buy a fun birthday present for my 7 yr old twin nephews and have seen these. I have seen a few reviews but half say they are good and half say not...which obviously has confused me!

They are basically 2 wheels that you strap onto trainers so you can glide along.

Thanks in advance.

Like changing normal trainers into Heeleys?
A couple of the local kids have them and they are worse than Heeleys because they lift their feet so far off the floor, they have difficulty stopping/walking.

Yes, but the wheels are on the outside of the trainer and bigger.

Hmm I did wonder about the stopping thing and have thought about knee/elbow pads to go with them (although I think they already have them)

They look like fun, but maybe they would be too difficult for them.

Having said that, they are both very agile boys so.....

my DS got them for christmas from his auntie and TBH he wore them twice. They are a pain to fit to the trainer (needs spanner each time) and are lethal for stopping etc. DS also said his ankles hurt after a while i think maybe due to the weird angle his feet were at. We have actually just bought him heelies which appear to be much safer and better for his feet.
