MOT enquiry

My car turned 3 years old recently and I haven’t MOT’d it (obviously as I can’t at the minute)

It doesn’t show as expired on the DVLA website - it just says “no details held by DVLA”

Can I continue to drive the car?

you can get it MOT'd it just depends where you would usually go and if they are open...maybe not if it is a big chain that is closed.

I got mine done last week...garage we use is a small family concern, father and son, so no need for them to do any social distancing. He is only open a couple of days a week though at present.

But you can leave it and carry on driving as there has been a six month amnesty for all MOT tests.

As said, your MOT expiry date has been extended for 6 months. If it was due say 20 April, it will show up on the DVLA website on about the 6 October as due on 20th October.
