Baby beanbag chair - anyone had one?

My mum wants to buy us one of these

I quite fancy it, but am worried it'll be another one of these things you use for a week and then trip over for months

Anyone had one or have an opinion?

at least it won't hurt your feet when you trip over it
am bruised from kicking bouncy chair

We actually have a bouncy chair in the loft. Mum is desperate to buy us something useful for the baby though.

She was not impressed when I suggested a pile of sleepsuits in varying sizes!

would she go for a tripp trapp?

Probably a little more than she had in mind. Plus, as this is the 4th child, I doubt there's room in the kitchen

Will have to be a booster on a dining chair when we get that far I think.

A friend has the Doomoo one, i think you can take the straps off on that one and am not sure about the mothercare one but her toddler uses it as a seat now so she has had nearly 2 years of use out of it.
(plus when we go over DD (19 months )always launches herself at it as it is more comfy than her crushed bean bag at home!)
