Light hearted problem with HAIR

What on Earth will happen to the nation's hair? My roots were showing before this crisis! Can anyone recommend a decent hair dye for blonde hair that doesn't turn it green ( Anne of Green Gables style)

I am box dying mine tomorrow in the first time in forever. Luckily it's just a dark brown.

My hair dresser suggested nice and easy. My roots needed doing before lockdown and I couldnt get there.

Also i have extensions that really need redoing. Ponytail everyday here.

I am more worried about the mess a dark dye will create.

If you go orange stick some purple shampoo on and let it sit there for about an hour. Tesco do a few different ones. Nice and Easy is good and they also do Demi permanent which doesn't cover grey quite so well but you can get an idea what the permanent will look like.
