DH birthday coming up and I am getting him an Ipod. Given that he is notoriously difficult to buy for and I am being nagged by MIL, my Mother and there will be other people asking I thought they may as well get him bits to go with it.

So, what is YOUR favourite Ipod accessory (I am completely in the dark about Ipods hence why I need help)

Thank you !

itrip - you can play your ipod thru any stereo - BRILLIANT!

Nip · 11/09/2007 09:27

i forgot to add - that you can also use this in your car.

Yes, I trip or you can get a cassette one if you have a cassette player in your car as sometimes Itrips are hard to tune into radio.

Also some speakers so you can use it at home.

oh thanks. We are thinking of getting docking station type speakers for the main rooms but that will probably be after but the in car thing might be useful...

How do they attach/adapt to the car btw - we have a CD in the car.

the itrip tunes into a selected radio station - and plays thru your radio, so no connection needed - OR depending on your stereo you can get ones that plug in.

Got DH a nike thing that goes on his and tracks his running progress - he very very impressed - not expensive either but you have to be a runner of course!

Nip · 11/09/2007 10:28

have a look here you'll be able to see whats compatible etc and then its worth having a look on play.com and amazon etc - you'll prob get it cheaper from somewhere like this.

Thank you all.

So far, I have decided on the Ipod from me, a radio converter thing from my mum, a clock radio coverter thing from MIL and someone else (his bro prob) can get some headphones that cut out other noise cos he'll probably use it on the train.

Am thinking of the arm band for running because he always 'talks' about running although rarely does. As its not expensive it may encourage and if not, its not too much money down the drain .

ooh maybe a case too...
