Is the drawer removable on a Bosch washing machine?

When we moved in to current house, we bought the washing machine from the previous owners - a Bosch WFD 2460 - the thing is that the powder drawer is full of gunk, and doesn't appear to have ever been cleaned. Is there a way of taking the whole drawer out to clean it? They didn't leave us the manual unfortunately, so no idea how to do this.

Thanks in advance..

Yes, you can! Did this the other week. Don't have the same model but suspect they're all removable. Just needed to do a lot of fiddling about.

Thanks Tinker - I've tried jiggling it and pulling it, and it stays firmly put. Is it just brute force then? I'm worried I'm going to break something.

On my machine you just pull the drawer out as far as possible then push down at the back in the middle where the conditioner goes and it releases.

Same as KBear Tarka

KBear - just done that and you were right, it's come out. Now for the unenviable task of cleaning it. Its gone green!

Thanks very much.

I have a WFF2000. In the middle of the drawer, to rear of the conditioner section, is a plastic wedge (ours has blue callibrations on it) with a picture of a thumb on it and some ridges. If you press down firmly there and pull the drawer at the same time with the other hand it slides all the way out.

Good luck
